Contucting

Conducting is a major activity of N. Kotrokois.

While he studied orchestral and choral conducting, because of his love for the human voice as the most perfect of instruments, and also because he also studied voice at the University of Graz, in the end he specialized in vocal ensemble direction.

This led him to direct various vocal ensembles at the largest conservatories in Athens, such as the Athens Conservatory, the Filippos Nakas Conservatory, the Nikos Skalkotas Conservatory et al.

He was also given the task to create a large children’s choir at the Moraitis School for the celebration of the school’s 50th anniversary.

In 1994 he founded the professional vocal ensemble “PolyPhonia,” with which he has given numerous concerts in large halls in Greece and abroad.

His repertory includes many works for orchestra and chorus and more than 600 choral works.
